Wal-Mart Coaching out of the blue?

Wal-Mart Coaching out of the blue?

Hi I have been with Wal-Mart for 4 years. Through three Wal-Mart in 3 different states. The first one really didn't count. But it started August 13th 2004 when I became a Cart pusher. At this Walmart, I was Associate of the Month of November 2004 and I was never late even if I was a Cartpusher at the time. I never got in trouble over there. It was a great environment. I then get promoted to Hardware after 2 years and 9 months of being a cartpusher. However My service with this Wal-Mart was about to end because I had to move away. I transferred to the Wal-Mart to Hardware. I had to adjust to the paint machine because it was manual. When I got here I made a lot of co-worker friends like the old one except this Wal-Mart was smaller and in a way more crappier managed. I received my first verbal when thisass wholee new manger didn't communicate with me. He told me to move all the Hardware on the other side because Toys where gonna put something there in the morning. I worked on it and my zone was suffered because I had to move the stuff. The next day the manger gave me the verbal. Later on my manger moved to overnights and good I was glad to see him go he was *** whole but not the last of him. Some months pass and the new dept manager over me was the overnighter. they just swapped. I my manger I have now. He walks like he has ants in his pants. One day I was mixing paint and I left frieght in a cart and he gave me a verbal. I was like yes whatever let me finish this paint.
Then what happened next was I was put in a terrible position which pissed probably alot of people off but what could I do. The other associate was changing the mod of paint. She had at least 30 - one gallons cans on the floor. Then All of a sudden I get a My shift is over can you finish? I am like (***** can't you finish the job. you were the one that put all these cans here). So She left and I am closing so I am trying to figure out the mod but entirly am messing up the mod. I had to put the cans somewhere. I couldn't leave them on the damn floor. I put all the cans in a rocket cart to prevent any safety accidents. As I tried to work the mod and getting a headache doing it. I ran out of time so I put some more cans up but not in the right place. I put some in the bins and the rest I left on the rocket cart for the next day. Apparently Wal-Mart was getting an inspection or something a couple days later. I get back and I see the associate that left the cans on the floor re-doing the mod. She tells me I only had one row to work. A few days pass and I get a call from my manger and he tells me this is a coaching. He tells me that I am below the list of people to coach because there are others that need more than me. He tells me it is just a continuation of small things that need to be fixed. The only thing he mentions is my zone her never mentions anything else other than I mess up the colors in a lot of the cans. But what other small things is he talking about. I told him the overnight manager (who was my first manager, who gave me my first verbal) tells me to help with the truck and pull pallets every night there is a truck. He said he didn't know that but then again it is just small stuff it is just not the zoning. He never went into detail about what the other small stuff is. He tells me he likes me and still thinks I am a great worker and to not feel down about the coaching. He said he wants to get with my dept manger and we can talk about what to fix. That was today...... I was called in to talk with them both. They both said I should get my eyes checked. I rated out the overnight manger for making me pull pallets every night. He said there are still small things. He said today would of been a d-day but my dept manager said I was worth saving. I don't really know what I will have to mess up on to get a d-day but it sounds like something very minor. So tonight I get asked to pull pallets and help with the truck and I never touched my department after lunch. I am worried they will see my terrible zone and give me the d-day but I told one of the nice overnight manager to tell my manager that I was in the back all night and the zone is bad. I may even just call her tommorrow morning because I have to explain that the zone was out of my control. Do you think this is bad for me?? Well, you can only do what one person can do....Yes,call your mgr in the am and let her know that all of it was out of your control.
